Committed to scientific integrity, the journal ensures that all submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory originality checks using iThenticate software, one of the most widely recognized tools for detecting textual similarities.

During the initial evaluation, the editorial team reviews the similarity percentage and the proper citation of sources. If the iThenticate report indicates a high level of similarity or detects matches with other publications without proper attribution, the manuscript will be immediately rejected or returned to the authors for correction, depending on the severity of the case.

Nexus Científico Multidisciplinary Journal en Ingeniería y Tecnología follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies its principles to address any incidents of plagiarism, duplication, data manipulation, or other forms of scientific misconduct.
