El propósito fundamental de esta investigación fue explorar los desafíos vinculados con el sobrepeso y la obesidad en la población juvenil, así como las causas profundas de la insatisfacción personal que impiden la adopción de hábitos de vida saludables. Los métodos sugeridos fueron diseñados para adolescentes de una edad específica, provienen de pruebas provenientes de encuestas y medidas antropométricas para cuantificar el porcentaje de adiposidad. Es esencial cumplir con este requisito para la ejecución de investigaciones complementarias. Es fundamental cumplir con esta exigencia para permitir al paciente continuar con sus estudios en nutrición y recibir el tratamiento psicológico y nutricional que prefiere. Los resultados de la evaluación se originaron a partir de las metodologías de investigación implementadas en el proyecto, las cuales facilitaron la identificación de las causas primordiales del sobrepeso y la obesidad vinculadas con la insatisfacción con el cuerpo. Este constituye un tema de interés, puesto que pone de manifiesto la promoción entre la etapa de la adolescencia y el proceso de formación de la identidad personal en la población juvenil. Además, se reconoce que la obesidad representa un impedimento que dificulta dicho procedimiento.
