Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of active pedagogical approaches on promoting meaningful learning in complex subjects such as mathematics, statistics, and physics in higher education. Through a theoretical and analytical review of relevant scientific literature, strategies such as problem-based learning, collaborative learning, gamification, and the use of digital technologies are examined. The results show that these methodologies enhance deep understanding, increase student motivation, and strengthen higher-order cognitive skills. Additionally, the importance of integrating technological tools and innovative approaches to transform teaching-learning processes is highlighted. It is concluded that the implementation of active methodologies is an effective strategy to improve educational quality in university contexts.
