Abstract

The present research works aimed to develop the English oral expression in children with autism spectrum disorder, through the application of didactic strategies, to make the process of learning English as a second language is the most appropriate in students with ASD, responding to a problem where a certain lack of knowledge in how to work based on the different needs that are presented in the classroom is perceived, focusing on students diagnosed with ASD, it can be understood that the current teaching of English has very little relationship with learning in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and this is where the main purpose of this research is to present strategies that motivate the autistic child to learn English in a different way. This research was based on a single case study, being this of qualitative scope, for data collection and analysis the rubric and observation sheet were used as tools. During the process, strategies were developed, and technological tools were applied that gave good results for working with students with individual differences. The proposal includes objectives and methodology to work with autistic children without excluding the rest of the class. It is concluded that autism does not exclude those who suffer from this disorder from receiving a quality education, taking into account that, with the appropriate strategies, they can achieve great performance not only in learning a second language but also in developing expression of their mother tongue and their social interaction.
